An unnamed source has told the New York Daily News that ABC is interested in adding Mama June Honey Boo Boo's mother to the new cast of "Dancing with the Stars."

ABC's casting for Season 16 of "DWTS" is creating quite a bit of buzz and lots of rumors. Other names rumored to make it on "DWTS" include Kourtney Kardashian, Victor Ortiz and Emily Maynard,

According to ABC, the new celebrity cast will be announced Feb. 26 during "Good Morning America." The show will have 12 celebrities who will be appearing on DWTS for the first time.

TLC rep denies Mama June rumor

A rep for TLC has denied the rumor, according to the Huffington Post.

June Shannon, who appears as "Mama June" on TLC's reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," has reportedly lost 115 pounds without going on a diet.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" takes a look at 6-year-old pageant sensation Alana who wants to prove that she's more than just a beauty queen. Alana first gained fame on TLC's "Toddlers & Tiaras," which takes an inside look at child beauty pageant contestants and their families.
