Rumor: Hillary Clinton has a new website
By MSN News
Hillary Clinton has a new website, which has stirred speculation that she's considering a 2016 presidential run.
Confirmed: Hillary Clinton has a new website.
Hillary Clinton's new website, www.HillaryClintonOffice.com, has set off speculation that the former secretary of state might be considering a 2016 presidential bid.
There's been a lot of buzz on Twitter about what Clinton plans to do with the website, which is registered through GoDaddy.com.
Registration data shows that the website was created on Jan. 31.
Hillary Clinton's campaign website HillaryClinton.com links to her new website.
Right now the website doesn't have much information. Visitors to the site are greeted with a picture of Hillary Clinton and a contact form where they can enter their personal information or ask a question. The website's privacy policy lists a singular email: info@hillaryclintonoffice.com.
"Hillary Clinton's new website just screams drop the mic ... No bio needed, just a contact button. Love it," tweeted Twitter user Josh Cook.
Others tweeted about Clinton's decision to use GoDaddy, which aired a racy Super Bowl ad Sunday.
"Was there no other host the Hillary Clinton team could find to register their new site than GoDaddy? I mean, cmon," tweeted Politico writer Ben White.
Twitter user Troy Appel described Clinton's portrait on her new website as "presidential."
Clinton dissolves 2008 presidential campaign
The Center for Public Integrity reported that Clinton disbanded her 2008 campaign organization Monday. Clinton said last week that she is "not inclined" to run for president in 2016. "I'm not thinking about anything like that right now," Clinton said. "I am looking forward to finishing up my tenure as secretary of state and then catching up on about 20 years of sleep deprivation."
Clinton has said that she will be writing a memoir and working on women's causes.
