Photos of Apple's alleged iPhone 5S in production leaked online.
UNCONFIRMED: Apple producing next generation iPhone 5S
Images of the alleged next generation iPhone 5S already in production at a Foxconn factory were posted on a Chinese technology site Monday.
The images show a phone that is nearly identical to the iPhone 5, which was released by Apple in September. But according to Mashable, the iPhone in the images appears to have an updated vibration motor.
According to 9to5Mac, the images show that Apple appears to be moving to a linear vibrating motor design, which is different from the iPhone 5's current rotational motor.
The images, which were also posted on GizChina.com, also reveal workers in white suits relaxing in the factory.
The physical similarities between the alleged iPhone 5S images and the iPhone 5 already on the market are spot on, but a new vibrating motor could help debunk theories that the new images are fake.
iPhone 6 coming soon?
According to Mashable, the Chinese site also suggested an iPhone 6, with an increased display from 4.8 inches to 5 inches, is on the way soon.
Watch in works
Apple is also rumored to be producing a smart wrist watch. The New York Times reported that the company is experimenting with a curved-glass watch-like device that could perform some smartphone functions.
