Appellate judges have ordered Broadway producer Eric Nederlander to pay $1.5 million to his estranged wife. The money will help pay for a New York City apartment the couple bought together nine years ago.
Broadway producer Eric Nederlander has been ordered to hand over $1.5 million to his estranged wife to cover the cost of her New York City apartment.
Nederlander split from psychologist Lindsey Kupferman in 2008, just weeks after their daughter Mira was born, and the former couple has been locked in a bitter court battle ever since.
On Thursday, a panel of appellate judges ruled the theater boss must pay his share of the mortgage on a pad they bought as newlyweds nine years ago. Kupferman's lawyer, Martha Cohen Stine, tells the New York Post, "We're greatly relieved."
The two will return to Manhattan Civil Court on Jan. 22 to try and iron out the terms of their divorce settlement.
